In this exceptional edition, the Forum will organize from May 26th to June 10th digital meetings between the nearly 90 companies in the sector, including producers, distributors, channels, sales agencies and potential co-producers from around the world interested in Ibero-American animation. Some of the first confirmed activities within the Forum program will take place on May 28th and it will be, on the one hand, a presentation of La Liga de la Animación Iberoamericana (The Ibero-American Animation League), an association conceived by the Quirino Awards together with the Pixelatl Festival (Mexico) and Animation! And, on the other hand, the pitch of the “Firsts” project will take place as a La Liga Award project, selected last December in Animation! of Ventana Sur. The “Firsts” series by Bernardita Ojeda is a Chilean project co-produced between Pájaro and Typpo Creative Lab that, thanks to this recognition, will be presented to professionals in the sector with the aim of speeding up their financing and production process.
In the middle of May, all the activities that will take place throughout the Quirino month will be announced. And on Monday, May 25th, an online press conference will take place in which the details of all the activities will be announced, as well as the news of the awards ceremony.
