The market is divided in two sections:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">INTERNATIONAL SECTION:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">&#8211; A selection of international short films completed after January 1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">st<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> 2024 (about 100 short films).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">&#8211; A selection of international music videos completed after January 1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">st<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">NATIONAL SELECTION:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">-All Spanish short films completed after January 1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">st<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> 2024, which get registered for the first time at the market.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">2.4. We will NOT accept animation pieces of different formats to the aforementioned (short films and music videos).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">2.5. The length allowed, credits included, is 30 minutes for the national and international categories and 10 minutes for the music videos.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">2.6. In those works with a mixture of animation and fiction, it will be necessary for a significant number of the main characters to be animated and for the animation to represent a minimum of 75% of the duration of the work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">2.7. There is no submission fee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">2.8. The organization has the right to use some pictures or extracts (max. 30 seconds) of the selected short films to promote those works and Weird Market and WFest itself.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">2.9. All titles will be made available to accredited professionals in the event&#8217;s video library for viewing, while respecting and safeguarding copyright. Under no circumstances will the works leave Weird or be viewable outside the market dates without prior authorization from their creators.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">2.10. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The deadline for submissions is June 15<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">2.11.
