Abanto critiques bullfighting through bullfighter Ramón Abanto Ramírez. As he leaves his house for the bullfight, he finds himself in an alternate present. Walking a few meters, he sees his great-great-grandmother in the distance, recognizing her from the oil portraits that adorn his home.
