BORJA PAKROLSKY

Madrid, 1986. He is a creative director and illustrator specialising in art direction who has developed part of his career in the field of advertising creativity. He worked in agencies such as Socialmood, Pink Lab, Pixel&Pixel or PS21, developing creative campaigns for clients such as KFC, Just Eat or Netflix among others. In 2021, together with Paula Álvarez, he founded Amigos solutions, a creative studio specialising in the development of creative campaigns for cultural projects with a special focus on cinema, series, music and entertainment. Amigos has carried out projects for Suma Content, Filmax, Rigoberta Bandini, Prime Video, Atresmedia, Mad Cool and the campaign that accompanied the candidacy of the final winner of the Oscar for animation, Alberto Mielgo. Since 2020 he has been working on ‘Cosas de Ratas’, an animated series that has accumulated millions of views on social networks.

He is currently CG Supervisor at B-Water Animation Studios. He began his professional career in the world of computer systems administration and programming. In 1995 he became interested in animation and studied at Fak d’Art and IDEP. In 1999 he set up a company called Virtual Joint to make 3D animation for the programme ‘Redes’, directed by Eduard Punset on TVE. Since 2007 he has worked in different productions (2D, 3D and videogames) with different roles in companies such as Cromosoma, Apuntolapospo, Digital legends, Wuji House, Mago Production, KD Production Toons and Games and B-Water.

GUILLERMO VELASCO

A professional in the audiovisual sector since 1994, Guillermo has enjoyed almost all areas of production and distribution in the audiovisual business. He developed his career in production and distribution companies such as Filmayer, Turner, Grupo Zeta (Aurum) and Telefónica Media, until 2001, when he founded his first company. In 2012 he founded his current animation and video game studio, being producer and executive producer of ‘Escape Hockey’, ‘Momonsters’ (film and series), short films, apps and video games. He is currently developing a new animated feature film and another animated series, which will start production in 2024. Guillermo actively participates in sectoral organisations of the animation and VFX industry such as Diboos and Pixel Cluster and maintains a strong commitment to the training of professionals in the sector from the UNAV, the Instituto de Empresa, The Core and U-TAD. He is a TV Academician and is pending his admission as a Film Academician.

CO-FOUNDER OF EVERGUILD, VIDEOGAME DEVELOPMENT STUDIO

ISABEL TALLOS

She made the leap from professional art and photography to the video game industry in 2014, when she and her brother Andrés founded Everguild. Everguild is a video game studio operating from the UK and Spain and specialising in digital collectible card games. Its flagship title, ‘Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions’, has been growing steadily for over five years, releasing new content on a weekly basis. Everguild recently announced a new partnership with Games Workshop to develop the official collectible card game ‘Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge’, which is currently in closed beta and will be released in 2023.

MUNTSA TARRÉS

Degree in Information Sciences from the UAB in 1992. Since 2015 she has been an associate lecturer on the Audiovisual Communication Degree at the Universitat de Barcelona. She is also executive producer of the Department of children’s and animation co-productions at TV3 since March 2021. Previously, she has worked at TV3 as executive producer of the New Formats Department, as producer of ‘La Marató de TV3’, as executive producer of the Documentary Department (from 2008 to 2019), as producer of the programmes ‘30 minuts’ and ‘60 minuts’, and as a news editor.

SAMUEL MOLINA

Also known on the internet as FuKuy, he is a Game Designer who took his first steps in the videogame industry in the field of communication with one of the first radio programmes about video games in Spanish: Montcada en Juego. Over the years, FuKuy has continued with his communication and dissemination facet in many other media and formats, such as the documentary ‘Extra Life’. He finally made the leap to his true passion in the world of development as a videogame designer. During his professional career he has participated in titles such as ‘Run Sheldon!’, ‘Youtubers Life’ or ‘ENDLING: Extinction is Forever’ (first Spanish video game to win a BAFTA). He is currently working as a mission designer on the game ‘Star Citizen’.

VERÓNICA BUIDE

Lawyer in intellectual property, digital law and new technologies, and international consultant expert in building IPs based on animation projects. Verónica has spent 18 years building, managing and directing international entertainment brands based on digital, audiovisual and editorial content, and has participated in IPs as relevant as Pocoyó, Miraculous Ladybug, Pucca, Gormiti or Milo. She also mentors young students and professionals. In addition, she has been actively involved in associations and movements for equality for years at national and international level, and is a member of the Referentes Galegas board of directors.

DIRECTOR OF RTVE’S CHILDREN’S CONTENTS AREA AND CLAN CHANNEL

YAGO FANDIÑO

Director of RTVE’s Children’s Contents Area and Clan channel. He previously held the post of Deputy Director of Children’s Content and Interactive Media at RTVE. With more than 20 international co-productions to his credit, his work has been recognised with different awards, such as the Iris awards from the Television Academy for the best children’s programme 2019, 2020 and 2021 for ‘Lunnis de Leyenda’, ‘Aprendemos en Casa’ and ‘Aprendemos en Clan’, the ‘Debate’ and the award for the best children’s programme at the New York Festival for the special episode of ‘Lunnis de Leyenda at the Prado Museum’. He is a member of the EBU’s team of Experts in Children’s Content and as a result of the ‘Aprendemos en Clan’ project, he has taken part in numerous meetings and seminars on the new role of Educational Television.

CULTURAL MANAGER AND GRAPHIC DESIGNER, COORDINATOR OF THE MIANIMA PROGRAMME

YURENA RIVERO

Cultural manager and graphic designer, in charge of coordinating the MIANIMA programme of the association MIA (Women in the Animation Industry). Since 2018 she has participated in cultural projects in Barcelona and Madrid, such as Reset at CaixaForum, Pública at the Círculo de Bellas Artes, Demos at Medialab Prado, La noche de los libros at the Real Casa de Correos or the Paseos Musicales at the Real Jardín Botánico. She has also actively collaborated with the ParaVerteMejor collective founded by the photography publishing house La Cueva, to promote and disseminate the work of Latin American photographers.
