Bárbara Cerro

Bárbara Cerro is an audiovisual creator from Buenos Aires. She graduated in Image and Sound Design from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and also studied Documentary Production alongside various multimedia design courses. She has directed animations that have won international awards and been screened at festivals such as Berlinale, Annecy, Mar del Plata, Sitges, FICX Gijón and the Ottawa International Animation Festival. She has been a jury member and guest speaker at numerous events such as GLAS Animation and Ventana Sur. She has received multiple awards throughout her career, including the Martín Fierro Digital Award for Best Series, Best Short Film at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival, and the National Arts Fund Award for Best Web Series. Her projects have been supported by Argentine cultural institutions such as INCAA, the National Arts Fund, the Metropolitan Fund, and the Mecenazgo programme. She is the founder and director of the BITBANG International Animation Festival (an Oscar® qualifying festival) in Buenos Aires since 2015.

Sylvain Grain

French producer, consultant and trainer with 20 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry. His skills and interest in animation, immersion and innovative formats led him to participate in creative projects for museums, theme parks, television, advertising and cinema, including award-winning IMAX 3D documentaries, animation short-films and TV Series. As part of the team of the Annecy International Animation Film Market (Mifa), Sylvain Grain aims at fostering emerging talents and building bridges between creative industries.

Vrej Kassouny

Kassouny is an Armenian filmmaker, cartoonist, painter, and the founder and director of ReA Festival (ReAnimania International Animation Films and Comics Art Festival of Yerevan). A driving force behind the development of Armenia’s animation ecosystem, he launched ReA Festival in 2009. More recently, he brought to life another initiative—ReAComics—with the goal of translating and publishing international comic books in Armenian, while also promoting a new wave of Armenian comic artists to the world. Both projects aim to nurture local talent and elevate Armenian visual storytelling on the global stage.
In addition to his festival and publishing work, Kassouny continues to lead his nearly 25-year-old animation studio, ReAct Production (formerly KASSart Production), based in Yerevan, Armenia.
